| | After more than 36 hours of travel, 4 plane rides.. I'm finally back in old Baltimore.
The plane ride wasn't exactly pleasant. I think the pilot wasn't all too good, the landing was rather horrible with a few large vertical drops (okay.. not that large like roller coaster but large enough to make you want to puke even after taking motion sickness pills)! The weather condition wasn't too great either, perhaps June isn't the best time to be flying? with the few crashes here and there.. one can't help but to be worried when the plane started shaking rather violently, and the seat belt sign was up most of the time. =( Towards the end of the flight, another violent shaking and the videos were out. The only good thing.. they gave us a voucher for either USD100 or 10% off next flight (hooray!!).
The family behind us consisted of 2 kids and 1 baby. The mom was rather horrible.. couldn't control her kids, or perhaps too lazy to do anything about them. The baby was either laughing or crying. She allowed the baby who didn't have a proper sit to stand on the floor in between out chairs, allowing the baby to knock on my chair countless of times. All through out, she and her kids and the baby were laughing aloud while everybody else was trying to sleep. One kid kept pressing on the button which goes BING!!! Signaling the flight attendants to come. After a while the flight attendants learnt to just ignore them. Passengers all around turned to glance at them one time or another. Cyrus finally told the lady to control her baby, cause I was complaining to him about it knocking on my chair. The lady just replied that she can't control the baby.. what nonsense? If you can't afford to buy a plane ticket for the child, at least have the decency to carry him on your lap. bleah!! in my mind I constantly thought of doping the kid.. haha.. okay enough.
So we're finally back. Don't miss us too much. =)
